When we used to run our own building services business, the most important thing we had to do aside from managing our crew, was constant business development.

We would spend our free-time scrolling LinkedIn, and messaging/emailing potential clients at random, hoping to get some responses.

When we wanted to hire a marketing firm, it seemed that all marketers had their own preconceived notions on what our business needed, without understanding our industry.
